19th & 20th Century Architecture: Essay #1: The Crystal Palace and The Crystal Court

Assignment:

Compare and contrast the Crystal Court to Joseph Paxton’s Crystal Palace Exposition Hall, designed in London in 1851.

Pay particular attention to

  • Structure/Organization
  • Display of Culture/Atmosphere
  • Use of Material

A compare and contrast paper is defined as a text that equally discusses the similarities and differences between two different items.  Please make sure you do both in your essay.

Format:

2-3 pages, double-spaced, typed.  Use Times New Roman or Ariel font size 12 with one inch margins.
